Horse Country Properties is a Boutique real estate brokerage owned and operated by veteran Real Estate Broker James (Jim) Neville. In operation since Fall of 2024, Horse Country Properties is dedicated to providing both buyers and sellers with personalized, expert services, to include locating properties (both on and off market) that meet buyer’s wants and needs, negotiating purchases and sales, prompt responses to calls, texts, and e-mails, and keeping all aspects of the transaction on-track and on-schedule through closing.

James (Jim) Neville

A licensed Florida Real Estate Broker since 2015, and previously licensed as a Real Estate Broker in California, Jim has the expertise and experience to get your deals done. Jim has developed several horse properties from scratch, including his current 13 acre ranch in Northeast Ocala. He works with both buyers and sellers, helping each to reach their goals. Jim is also a real estate investor, owning several rental properties, and also having completed a number of “Fix & Flips”. He is also is well-versed in creative financing techniques, and unusual situations, such as purchasing investment properties within a Roth IRA.
Jim is a U.S. Navy veteran, having served onboard nuclear submarines, and later served as a Navy Reserve officer, reaching the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He holds a B.S. from USNY-Regents College, and an M.S. degree from Boston University. He is an avid horseman, competing in American Quarter Horse Association and American Ranch Horse Association locally and throughout the Southeast.
